Scientists of the Agrarian Faculty held an international round table online

On the 14th of February, 2024, scientists from the departments of “Plant and Livestock Production” and “Water Resources, Land Use and Agrotechnology” of the Agrarian Faculty held an international round table online on the topic: “Soil degradation and the threat to water resources.” The event was opened with an opening speech by the dean of the faculty, candidate of agricultural sciences G.R. Professor from the Azerbaijan Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry Mustafayev Mustafa Gylman ogly spoke in detail about the causes of degradation and ways to solve the problem.

Head of the department “Organization and technology of irrigation and construction works”, professor of the Russian State Agrarian University-Moscow Agricultural Academy named after K.A. Timiryazev Balabanov Viktor Ivanovich touched upon the issues of soil cultivation in organic farming.
