On the 12^th  of December , 2024, scientists from the department of “Water Resources, Land Use and Agrotechnology” of the Agrarian Faculty of South Kazakhstan University named after Mukhtar Auezov held an international online forum on the topic: “Sustainable management of water resources.”

The forum opened with welcoming words from the Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation, Ulan Seitkazievich Suleimenov, and the Dean of the Agrarian Faculty, Gulnara Rakhimberdyevna Tastanbekova. Participants noted the importance of integrating science, education and practice for effective water resources management. The event brought together more than 200 participants, including leading scientists, experts, teachers and business representatives from Kazakhstan, Russia, Uzbekistan and Malaysia. The forum has become a key platform for discussing innovations, challenges and prospects in the field of water resources in the context of climate change.
