On December 29, 2023, in the large assembly hall of the akimat of the district, Akim Serik Mamytov presented an award in the nomination "Honorary Citizen of the Zhetysai district" to citizens who worked productively in various fields and provided high-quality services to the population after a congratulatory speech. Docent of the Agrarian Faculty, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences Baizhanov K.S. was awarded for his long-term leadership in the field of veterinary medicine in Maktaaral and Zhetysai districts, as well as for his significant contribution to the development of the district's economy.
