The Agrarian Faculty held an open day “Your bright future is in science”
In order to stimulate students to research work and develop the skills of independent research activities, on 29th of the February, 2024, an Open Day “Your bright future is in science” was held among student scientific clubs in the assembly hall of the Agrarian Faculty. The ceremony was attended by Dean G.R. Tastanbekova, Director of the Department of Academic Science U.B. Nazarbek, Head of the student research department J.M. Seisenbaeva, heads of departments, leaders and participants in scientific circles of structural divisions.
The competition for 6 teams consisted of two stages: Stage I - presentation of the activities of the clubs; Stage II - homework-sketch about the scientific direction and specialty.
Based on the number of points scored, the jury determined 3 prizes, for which cash certificates were awarded. The best results among scientific clubs were shown by the following teams: “Sunkar” (certificate of 30,000 tenge) from the department “Veterinary Medicine”; “Gul zherdin korki” (certificate of 20,000 tenge) and “Tulpar” (certificate in the amount of 15,000 tenge) of the department of “Plant and Livestock Production”. The remaining three teams from the department of “Water Resources, Land Use and Agrotechnology” were awarded cinema tickets.
