Lectures by scientists from Uzbekistan
Within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation with Tashkent State Agrarian University, on May 25-26, Professor B.Nasirov and docents B.Kamilov and Zh.Eshankulov gave lectures on the topic: "Soil degradation in Uzbekistan". The lecturers told the audience about the problems of soil degradation and the need to prevent degradation processes at the early stages of development. They also gave examples of various methods for assessing soil degradation, sampling and preparation of samples for physico-chemical and biological analysis.
