The Agrarian Faculty passed an external audit for program accreditation
April 22-23, 2024 according to the program of the visit of the expert group Independent Agency on quality assurance in education, as part of an external audit of program accreditation of SCU named after M. Auezov, experts met with the rector, vice-rectors, directors of departments, offices, centers, heads of structural divisions, deans, heads of departments, teaching staff, employers, students of educational programs, graduates. Members of the expert group also conducted a visual inspection of the material, technical, educational and laboratory facilities in the areas of accredited educational programs.
The Agrarian Faculty underwent an external audit for the following 11 EPs: 6B08110 “Agronomy”; 6B08120 “Soil science and agrochemistry”; 6В08130 “Protection and quarantine of plants”; 6B08210 “Technology for the production of livestock products”; 6В09111 “Veterinary medicine; 7M05126 “Veterinary biotechnology”; 6B08710 “Agricultural machinery and technology”; 6B08610 “Water resources and water use”; 6В07330 “Water supply, sanitation and protection of water resources”; 7M07330 “Water supply to cities and industry” and 7M07350 “Geospatial digital engineering”.
Accreditation of educational programs consists of an official examination carried out by an accreditation agency in order to establish compliance of training in these programs with accepted standards and requirements, and is also intended to play the role of a guarantor of quality, reliability of the organization of education in accredited educational programs, to build trust on the part of applicants and their parents, recognition on the part of employers of the validity of the education received by graduates.
