Research Activities of the “Water Resources, Land Use, and Agricultural Engineering” Department
The “Water Resources, Land Use, and Agricultural Engineering” department hosts three student research clubs:
- “Water Specialist”
- “Agro-Technician”
- “Mother Earth”
Each year, more than 60 students participate in these clubs. The results of their research are discussed within the department, and the best reports are presented at faculty and university conferences, where students receive diplomas for their achievements.
Students actively participate in scientific conferences held both in nearby and distant foreign countries.
The student research work aims to develop students’ skills in scientific research, fostering their creativity and initiative as researchers (scientists), managers, and practitioners. This approach aligns with the modern requirements for training competitive specialists. The research clubs help increase students’ interest in learning, allowing them to acquire essential universal and professional competencies. The process also enhances students’ critical, creative, and scientific potential, enabling them to apply scientific and technical advancements in practice.
